Traditional Aged
18-Year Old Balsamic

Few culinary traditions have kept the pride and passion as Traditional Balsamico has. For nearly one millennium, the Italians of Modena & Emilia-Romagna have transformed grapes and their juice into a thing of beauty.

Balsamico starts with ripe white Trebbiano grapes, they are then pressed releasing the musk {juice}, which is then reduced to roughly thirty percent of the beginning amount. From there it ages a minimum of twelve years, spending its days in seven different barrels including oak, ash, cherry, chestnut, walnut, mulberry, and acacia. The evaporation throughout its life is sent to the angels, while the remainder grows viscous, sweet and velvety for us to enjoy.

Often times, the Balsamico is then aged an additional six years as our featured Traditional has, and after passing an intricate assessment by a board of Balsamico Specialists, it’s exported and bottled. From here it finds a way into the hands of yourself, found atop your dinner table during special celebrations,or hidden on the top shelf where only you know of its existence in hopes of lasting consumption.

Our 18-Year Traditional Balsamic is sweet in flavor making it a perfect partner for salads, soups, fruits, meats and bread. A great marinade, or drizzle on vanilla ice cream and strawberries. What does good with 18-Year old Balsamic? The answer is simple....everything.
